چکیده
The mesoscopic structure of rocks determines their strength and deformation characteristics. grain pore size distribution granite samples buried depth 1600 m to 1900 in a goldmine Shandong Province are measured by polarizing microscope low-field nuclear magnetic resonance. splitting test is carried out the acoustic emission signal obtained real time using an electro-hydraulic servo press PCI-2 collector. relationship between meso-mechanics characteristics split analyzed. experimental result shows that there no clear correlation meso-grain distribution. Rocks with larger mineral grains easily form inter-embedded structures grains, bearing effect enhanced, tensile improved. level stress concentration rock closely related rock, ringing count before main rupture large aperture (0.1~10 mm) more active than small (0.01~1 mm), number high frequency signals induced penetration pores unstable failure stage post-peak stage, higher, energy release increased, however released fracture weak.

Characteristics of acoustic emission during single diamond scratching of granite
The acoustic emission (AE) measured during single diamond scratching of granite can provide valuable information about the structural composition and sawability of natural stone material. As described by Prof. Dr.-Ing. R. Clausen*, Dr, C.Y. Wang** and Dr,-Ing, M. Meding***, scratching tests are shown to i ndicate a direct relationship between the characteristics of AE generated by scoring, the ...
متن کاملOn the Use of Acoustic Emission and Digital Image Correlation for Welded Joints Damage Characterization
A series of tests have been conducted to investigate fatigue damage characterization in corroded welded steel plates using structural health monitoring (SHM) techniques. Acoustic Emission (AE) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique with potential applications for locating and monitoring fatigue cracks in service. In the present work, AE is implemented to characterize damage during crack e...
متن کاملCharacteristics of the acoustic emission during horizontal single grit scratch tests: Part 1 characteristics and identification
Material process in grinding involves three phenomena namely: rubbing, ploughing and cutting. Rubbing and ploughing, which usually occur before or after cutting, essentially mean the energy is being applied less efficiently in terms of material removal. It is therefore important to identify the effects of these different phenomena experienced during grinding. To identify the different phenomena...
